Introducing a classic, beautifully-made Gruner Veltliner from three sites in Wagram: Scheiben, Brunnthal and Hammergraben. Even in the deepest soils of these vineyards you’ll find layers of pure loess; this is excellent for water and heat retention, leading to very ripe and characterful grapes. Deeply coloured, the wine has rich aromas of meadow herbs, spice and tropical fruits. The palate is rounded and plush with salinity and pepper on the finish. If you’re new to Gruner, start here!
