A full-bodied, rich and opulent wine from the southern Rhone. This is a blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah grapes, grown on vines that are over 70 years old then aged in oak barrels for up to 18 months. The result is an incredibly complex wine with aromas of black fruit, spices and leather. On the palate, the wine is dense and concentrated with ripe dark fruit flavours and a long, silky finish. This is the epitome of a classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape and is perfect to pair with hearty dishes or simply enjoyed on its own.
