The Chardonnay grapes for this wine come from the Genevrieres vineyard, located in the southern part of Meursault next to Charmes and just below Perrieres. The soil in Genevrieres is very stony with high levels of lime. Deep yellow in colour, the aroma is intense, round and creamy, with notes of lightly toasted brioche and hints of citrus. On the palate, it is full and rich with a clear oak barrel character and abundant notes of yellow apples and pears. The finish is tart and fresh with a deliciously elegant length.
