A wonderful Northern Italian Sauvignon that in style sits some where between it counterparts from France and New Zealand with a fresh herbal character it’s flavours are perhaps more pronounced than an example from the Loire yet more restrained than a glass of Marlborough Sauvignon with the gooseberry and tropical fruit turned down and more of a focus on clean minerality and juicy citrus that really cleanse the palate. The texture is still weighty & round, with a prolonged finish that sees more flurries of green herbs, a really interesting wine.
