The second wine from Pauillac estate Chateau grand Puy Lacoste managed by the Borie family. Attractive, fruit-forward nose with all the classic notes of blackcurrant and plum as you would expect from a very good Pauillac. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Complex nose of blackcurrant, black cherry and black plum with hints of sweet spice. Rich and round on the palate with ripe, fine tannins and swaithes of autumn hedgerow fruits fused with mocha and cedar spice. Powerful yet refined and well-tuned with an impressive finish.
