Larry Cherubino is one of Western Australia’s superstar winemakers. We have recently unearthed some of his gems, including this superb wine from Frankland River. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, and Nebbiolo fermented in a concrete egg – hence the label. Larry’s striking personality comes out in this wine: it oozes with style, richness and concentration. The Nebbiolo gives the wine a lovely tannic bite and edginess on the mid-palate and finish.
