From the Contino estate in Rioja Alavesa, this is a Reserva packed with flavour and character. There’s plenty of dark cherries, blackberries, and plums, with a fresh lift of redcurrant and just a hint of dried figs and spice. It’s aged for about two years in French and American oak, which brings everything together beautifully, adding depth without overpowering the fruit. Silky and smooth, with a lovely balance of ripe fruit, gentle oak, and a fresh kick of acidity, it’s elegant, full of flavour, and with a touch of swagger.
