Produced from 20 parcels on steep slopes in Northern Rhone, Domaine Jamet’s Côte Rôtie is exclusively Syrah. The variety and diversity of the terroir makes for a superbly engaging wine, with notes of blackberries, cherry and Moroccan spices with a delightful touch of freshness. A rich and dense wine, the floral and spice notes linger strongly on the youthfully gripping finish, which features mounting, but gentle tannins and lingering smokiness.
