Domaine Jamet Cotes Du Rhone 2021

Crafted entirely from Syrah, this Côtes du Rhône is matured in large, ancient oak barrels sourced from vineyards located just outside the Côte Rôtie AOP, where clay and schist soils prevail. The nose is a delight with its lifted aromas of flowers and spices, accompanied by vibrant cherry fruit notes. Its supple and mineral character, intertwined with hints of smoke, exudes an energetic and captivating essence. Despite its light to medium body, the wine surprises with its intense and charming nature, revealing both primary and subtle flavours. Quite exceptional, far surpassing the typical Côtes du Rhône appellation.
