Very ripe, juicy pear notes emanate from the glass, but there is also a friendly tinge of yeast. The palate does both notions complete justice, delivering a refreshing but supple, peppery mouthful with a lovely, moreish and lip-smacking finish. This is really versatile wine great for dining alfresco. Great with potato salad with dill and chicken schnitzel, or simple white fish dishes.
