Although still quite small, Delord rank amongst the greats in Gascogne where the climate is soft and humid with sunny autumns and the soil is made of siliceous clay which is poor in lime, giving Bas Armagnacs a lightness and fragrance with subtle tastes. This is full of prunes and dried fruits with an aromatic richness and lingering notes of soft, ethereal spice.
